2018 Top Hair Trends for Womenswear

Fresh new look for a positive change! Its another year and everyone’s inquisitive what’s trending and whatnot. You must be dying what haircut/hairstyle 2018 has to offer since last year gave so much from Ombre’ to short bob cuts.

Goodbye BORING BLACK SLEEK LONG “KiKi” HAIR because more and more people are getting adventurous with their looks. Even Kim Kardashian even ditched her signature hair last 2017. So you must be thrilled what research I found for you guys!

DISCLAIMER: The content of this blog came from personal market research seen thru Social Media and magazine articles such as Elle, Harpers Bazaar, Cosmopolitan and Vogue.

Mini Bob

This haircut was a trend last year and will continue for 2018. Seems like chopping hairs from very long hair is something giving a Vogue-fierce change in your look. You can wear a simple dress and make it edgy effortlessly.

Burst of Pink/Awkward Peach

Sorry Ash Gray, your time is up! Lately Pink and Peach became a hot topic from putting a pop of color to the eyes with Modern Renaissance Palette or Too Faced Peach Palette to highlighters of RiRi x Fenty, comes the hair. Actually a few celebrities already started it. It originally was seen from the famous Korean Model Irene Kim then Pony the famous Makeup Guru to Camille Co, very famous blogger. This sweet color will surely amp up your look. It’ll surely make you look young and fun making you striking from a distance but won’t be too offensive unlike a bold color lile red or blue. It’s much softer amd feminine that is easy to match any skin color.

The only downside to this is you need to maintain it and preperation to get the perfect color might take some patience and cha-ching!

Messy Hair Bob (Vixen Bob)

Messy hair don’t care! If you are not that bold to cut your hair that short or think that dying your hair is too much to maintain, having a short messy hair could do the trick. It automatically switches the mood to SEXY yet FRESH.

All you need is a curler, hair mousse!

Straight Collar Bone Length Bob

Looking foe a chic look? Straight is still a go to hairstyle but a shorter cut will make you elongated and fresh to the eyes. Even Kiki cut hers but still maintaining her signature straight, in-the-middle side. It maintains the girly, clean look without sacrificing too much.

Playful Fringe

Everybody was blown with Selena when she chnaged her hair recently. Even with a round face, this trend will suprisingly suit you. The combination of a bob and undone fringe instead of a blunt cut block fringe makes it more casual. In addition, you don’t need to be so specific with the hair style. Its very adaptable in so many hair variation may it be a sleek or messy bob.

Wet Hair Look

This sweaty, dirty style seems like a sizzle this year. Its not just for the hair but even the wet skin too. We’ve seen it from Kiki in the VMAs to Lily Aldridge walking the runway, it sure is a show stopper making you literally stepped out of the shower. Many designers have also used this like Coach and Fenty Puma for their models.

Its a combination of waving the hair by either braiding it overnight or just curl it then wirh a help of a cream mousse and shiny gel… Viola! A hairstyle looks so effortlessly and different from all the neat curped or straightened styles.

Long long Locks

Bring your inner Cher coz long hair is still in the game. I guess not everyone will agree to cut their hair especially when you’re attached to it (I remember myself cutting my hair and crying so bad after). So no worries, but keep in mind to trim it every once in a while to keep it healthy. No one wants a dry hair. But if you have a short hair and you devide one day to get this look, an extension can easily do the trick!

Behind my Instagram Account: “ysabelobviar”

Ooohh it’s “Instagramable”! Can I take a picture first? From restaurants to vacation spots, you can hear people saying this. And what’s funny, you need to halt for second before you could dive in to your food or hop to your reala activity coz you need to spare some time to take pictures. It became a serious thing not only for Millenials but for all ages. So what’s really behind it?

There are ups and lows in owning a social media account. Everyone has their own take why they keep some or decide to shut them. For me its purely sharing my adventure whether I’m eating something worth lining for or letting the world know how it feels good to be a mom or just a daily stroll to my life.

Just in case you’re wondering, I named my account estee.bel (estee = eSTElla/Star + BEL = me) because I decided to make it a joint account of me and Stella since its been a while people adores my posts about her. I actually want to make a separate account for her but she’s to young and if I do so, it would be exclusively for family and closest friends.
I want to share to you guys that I’m taking my account with thought and perseverance to preserve memories as I can. It also feels good to make other people encouraged to try new stuff. Like when some people reacted positively when I lost my pregnancy weight and whatsoever. It’s such a good feeling that you somewhat could motivate other people with just a click even you’re miles away apart.

But the catch is! Instagram can sometimes show fake lives. Some thought I am lucky to have what I have though I’m not saying I have everything but at least I could get more than what’s necessary. Of course I wouldn’t post anything bad my life their coz its my personal life and I don’t wantto send negative vibes out there.

I already deactivated my Facebook and Twitter account when I was pregnant but not Instagram. Am I addicted to it? Somewhat YES… Well, its so hard to let go coz I saved all of my good memories there since I was in unuversity and its such a pleasure to scroll back to memory lane especially when I’m feeling down. It gives me smiles! Also, my closest friends are more active there as well. Facebook seems so crowded for me and its so much out there that I cannot limit. Even if I want to make a new account and start fresh, I felt bad for the stuff I already put there when I first started that’s why i just decided to unfriend some (sorry if you’re one of them, I just want to share most of my very personal life to my family and closest friends.) I actually barely use it now, I just use it to post pictures so that my relative could see my baby. That’s it. So I’m not that crazy with the trending news out there unless I see it on my IG followers.

Let’s admit, its more satistying looking at feeds with a theme and interconnected.

Feel free to follow me or message me if you want someone to talk to 😊

OOTD: Lazy Day with a Splash | 1

Its 2018 and what a better year to start something new. I’m always an avid fan of fashion bloggers though I cannot say I myself wears trendy ones. But at least I try to look pleasing according to my taste. Every now and then, I update my wardrobe but I keep in touch with old pieces I could mix up with new ones. So to start, I’ll show you how I wear clothes like normal human being in a normal type of day without any occasion and whatsoever.

I’m not the person who likes to wear over the top outfits especially if I’m just going to do some errands. It was a hot summer vibe day again after a month of sweaters and hoodies. I decided to wear this my hippy T-dyed from Habitat Crossfit and pair it with a Barney coloured shorts from Roxy. Then to make it a not so ”I’m in the house” outfit, I wore mid socks and my favourite pair of Nike Thea Air Max. It was not planned to take pictures but when I realized “Damn this outfit looks eye catching”, I asked my twin to be my phone photographer 😂.

It was such a bright day and overall, my outfit complemented it.
